Sandbar Community Engagement

We're thrilled to announce a special collaboration with the Larrakia Cultural Centre. Together, we're engaging a renowned Larrakia artist, Yvonne Odegaard, to create a breathtaking artwork on the Sandbar wall.

The painted canvas will then be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to support a charity of choice, close to Yvonne’s heart, Starlight Children’s Foundation. These initiatives are crucial in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Larraki, ensuring Larrakia stories, traditions, and art continue to thrive for future generations.

Over the next 8 weeks, you can witness this stunning transformation in real-time. Stop by Sandbar to watch the artwork evolve and be part of this unique artistic journey! Your support and participation not only contribute to a beautiful artistic creation but also to a meaningful cause that enriches our community.
